Not many people know that ZIMA actually began downstairs.
Downstairs
In 2016, when the restaurant had not yet taken up the entire building, our first pop-up event was held in the basement under our Soho townhouse. In a manner similar to a mushroom, it slowly expanded upwards until there was a restaurant on each floor. Nevertheless, the basement always remained the place where people used to stay a bit longer.
Today it's home to ZIMA Bar & Karaoke.
Friday & Saturday
On Friday and Saturday evenings the lights are switched off, the microphones are brought out, and the room is filled with a variety of songs, including guilty pleasures and power ballads as well as tracks that everyone somehow knows how to sing. If you're there with friends, if you've come in after having dinner or if you're simply looking for a different kind of night out in Soho, all people get a chance to perform.
Bar & late menu
The bar serves our homemade nastoykas, classic cocktails, wines and a late-night menu of ZIMA favourites, so there's no need to leave when hunger inevitably strikes.
On karaoke nights people are always welcome to turn up unexpectedly, or if you want to plan ahead you can book a table in advance. We'll have a microphone ready.

Entrance downstairs on Frith Street - same townhouse as the restaurant, different energy. Walk-ins welcome on karaoke nights; book ahead if you want a table held.

Private hire
The space can also be hired on a private basis - birthdays and office parties, private dinners, celebrations or product launches. It has its own bar, a stage, sound system and a bit more privacy than the restaurant above, so it's easy to make your own.
